I have plants of Piri-Piri and Jindungo. Theoretically both are the same C. Frutescens, and they are surely very similar, but I got much smaller peppers from Jindungo than Piri-Piri !! What do you think?
Hi Tony Nice to find you here! Yours are all growing by now, except the Xai Xai :(. I must sow them again. Perhaps I'll be more lucky this time! Especially for you, I'm posting a recipe of a Piri-Piri sauce at Carol's section! I hope you like it! And as I have flooded Jim with Piri-Piri seeds for the OF, I hope everybody will be enjoying it at the end of the season!
Hi Margarida!Good to hear from u!Sorry about the Xai Xai.Mine have sprouted just fine and I'll be posting pics soon.I hope your new batch is OK.Nice to see a post on this forum of the results as its my second year trying for this one. I'm putting this plant and a few others on some new nutes, should help with their progress, and if yours don't take we'll get you fixed up in a couple months. We are supposed to get down to 40 F tomorrow nite but i'm hopeing that is the ends of winter for us.Then all we have to worry about is spring storms and then...well I'm not gonna get into that By the way good morning! Its 1:30 here and I'm out!!!!!!!

mecdave: They had hooked the DSL up to the 40 yr old line, not the new one! It was all corroded green copper at the connections. One more service call to switch over to the new line and delete the old since I had dropped the land line by then. Fixed.

mecdave: PS Slow service, even on nice days was one of the symptoms of the old corroded line. It takes a long time for them to dry out. Always had better service in the hot dry summers.

ajsmama: We went around with AT&T for years complaining every time it rained until 1 tech finally found they had put in a ground when they installed, before electricity came in, once he moved the phone ground to the house ground it was fine. CO still wire-wrapped!

ajsmama: Frontier didn't know what it bought into. I'm hoping they upgrade the equipment & lines now that Internet access is classified as a "utility" But the local cable co is worse, uncle called for that and they moved his phone & DSL over w/o installing TV.

ajsmama: Took him a lot of back and forth to get back to Frontier so he could get Internet (he had problems with them right after takeover but it's been working for months). Charter didn't work with his Frontier modem and they never gave him new one just took over

ajsmama: And they never ran cable across the street from pedestal to his house 200ft max. Ours is almost 700ft though easy to pull since we have conduit - if they left the cable and blew out any water from the conduit we could pull it ourselves. But don't want TV

northof49: If you don't want TV, just ask for a "Dry Loop" I know up here we can get a dry loop for both DSL and Cable. They charge about $5 a month just for the use of there line.

ajsmama: I asked when we built they wanted over $1000 IIRC to run the cable (660ft phone line was free) we didn't have the $. I'll ask about dry loop and monthly fee. They advertise $29.99/mo each for 3 services don't know about only 2.

northof49: OUCH, on the cable run. The company I work for, we have spent upwards of $10,000 to run Cable to a building just to get internet. That included trenching and conduit about 500'. These days most of it is now fiber and free right to the dmarc.

ajsmama: Trenching and conduit was done when we built. Put in 3 conduits have 1 spare.

ajsmama: Just wondering since I know lots of members are from OK - I have been getting calls on farm number from OKC area, no messages. I do screen calls since we've been having lots of scams (incl one claiming IRS lawsuit). If it's anyone here please PM me.
